The California marijuana raid in which Army deserter Bowe Bergdahl was discovered by police led to the arrest of Clueless actress Alicia Silverstone's brother, the Daily Mail Online can reveal.

Army Sergeant Bergdahl, who was released in a prisoner exchange after being captured by the Taliban in Afghanistan in June 2009, was at a ranch in Redwood Valley when authorities stormed the property, seizing 181 marijuana plants.

Bergdahl was escorted back to base after satisfying officers he had only been visiting with friends.

But during the raid police arrested two of Bergdahl's friends and in a bizarre twist, actress Alicia's older brother David Silverstone was arrested at the adjacent property, where he is a farmer.
