During the recent Impericon Festival, Steve Fallows managed to grab a few words with Despised Icon vocalist Alex Erian just after their storming set, and talked about the future for the recently reformed Canadian deathcore crew.

(((o))): Thanks for taking the time to talk to us.

First of all, how was the show?

Alex: Thanks. Truthfully it was a bit rushed with a dozen bands playing today, and you want to make sure there’s no technical difficulties and everything sounds properly.

You don’t want too let anyone down, but I think think we put on a good show. We played a short set, just like everyone else, so we concentrated on just playing the hits and that felt great.
