          Hassan Nisar (Punjabi, Urdu: حسن نثار; born 5 July 1951) is a Pakistanijournalist, newspaper columnist, TV news analyst,[1][2] and Urdu poet.

          Early life and education

          Hassan Nisar was born on July 5, 1951 in Faisalabad, Punjab into a literary PunjabiArain family which moved from Amritsar following the 1947 partition, his grandfather having been an intellectual fluent in English and Persian, who gave his name to the Farid Chowk in Amritsar, Nisar being one of six children.[3]

          He completed his Matriculation and FA from Faisalabad and then studied Journalism and Economics at the University of the Punjab, Lahore.[3]
